Mesh From Mask is a quick and easy collection of brushes (MeshExtrude, MeshBalloon, MeshSplat, and MeshExtrudePropDepth) for making base meshes that you can then sculpt with the rest of the ZBrush feature set. Simply use the masking lasso to draw the form you like. ZBrush would immediately convert the illustrated form into an editable mesh. You will then either start sculpting right away or begin to refine the outline by adding to it, subtracting from it, or cutting holes. The created model updates in real-time as you change the form, so you never have to wonder what the effects would be.
This function has two distinct modes. As seen above, detailed flat shapes with uniform thickness and regulated bevels are created. The other mode, as seen below, generates smooth, organic forms in a balloon-like effect that is thicker where the enclosed form is wide and thins near corners.
