A quick view at the REGAL built 20th Century parlor guitar after being taken out of the go-bar clamp. The two broken pieces of the sound board have be re-united with the body, loose braces re-affixated, a new brace built and applied and a Western red ceder scab plate applied to the underside. The huge dip that was in the top is almost gone.
Next step is to remove the urethane glue (Gorilla glue) that was applied to the tail block and sides so we can get that area stabilized.
I also show you how to make a very simple, very cheap, very effective home made luthier tool out of a feeler gauge, some contact cement, and sandpaper.
