I messed up at first with the camera but both magpies get a feed under a couple of bales. I rolled over a log which stirred up a colony of large ants that were living under it. He arrived first - as is apparently his right - but a fair bit later I'm pretty sure it's the ants that make her dance around a few times and it's really cute.
A decent centipede gets nailed before I remember to change the video setting - sorry to have missed that. At least the bales are producing solid feeds for the magpies though as usual he gets first pick.
For those who are interested the first edit of this took 2 hours 11 minutes so it's much quicker than a birdbath video with lots of bathing/slow motion. Checking the first edit, fixing a couple of issues, recompiling, setting up the video and thumb image took around 1 hour 42 minutes.
