Nearly 13-thousand people have been evacuated from their homes on Luzon Island as a nearby volcano on Sunday, began spewing lava and sulfuric gas.
According to experts Mount Mayon generated 21 weak volcanic earthquakes on Sunday, as well as 260 rockfalls and lava flow activity.

Mount Mayon is one of the world's most active volcanoes.
It last erupted in 2018, displacing thousands of people.
