On my first night in India, I stayed at Leela Palace Hotel, a 5-star accommodation in New Delhi, and I was completely surprised by its luxury, charm and attention to detail.
I dined in their 'Michelin star experience' restaurant, Megu, and it was one of the best Japanese cuisine journeys of my life. Each course was exquisite, different, and left a lasting memory.
Leela Palace has an enchanting rooftop infinity pool, which is welcomed in the summer heat.
I hope you consider staying here because it gave me a wonderful first impression and starting point for my time in India. Megu Restaurant was extremely intimate and personalised and I would highly recommend it if you are a 'foodie' of any sort.
Stay tuned for my next video where I explore the Golden Triangle of India: New Delhi, Agra and Jaipur!
[Kindly note this video contains all my original thoughts and ideas and there was no collaboration or financial incentive involved with Leela Palace.
(Disclaimer: the chef at Megu Restaurant provided 3 complementary dishes to welcome me on my first night in India travelling solo, without knowledge that I was making a YouTube video until the night's end. My final bill at the restaurant came to approximately $100 USD]
I hope you enjoy this hotel and restaurant as much as I did!
