The Light Armored Vehicle (LAV) crew consists of three Marines: the LAV driver, the LAV gunner, and the LAV commander. These Marines operate and maintain the LAVs and their weapon systems. LAV crews conduct security and reconnaissance in support of winning our Nation’s battles.
