Wofai Samuel is the Acting Director General of the Nigerian American Chamber of Commerce and a YALI (Young African Leaders Initiative) alum from the West Africa Regional Center in Accra, Ghana. With a background in Public Policy and Management, Wofai joined YALI to connect with Africans across the continent, explore diverse cultures, and learn about public policies.

The USAID Young African Leaders Initiative hosted the YALI Alumni Expo and Trade Show (YALI Expo) from November 11 to 14, 2024, in Cape Town, South Africa. The YALI Expo overlaped with the AfricaTech Festival (also in Cape Town) from November 12 to 14, 2024, which boasted 15,000 attendees, 300+ exhibitors, 1,000+ start-ups, and 150+ investors.

The YALI Expo convened, connected, and celebrated YALI alumni making positive change in their communities by creating networking opportunities and showcasing innovations for sustainable impact.
