Kew Gardens Christmas lights return to town and are more spectacular than ever with over one million twinkling lights.
This year’s trail features fantastic brand-new light installations with vibrant bursts of colour.
Some of the highlights are:
1 - A series of stunning projections across the historic Palm House and adjacent lake accompanied by much-loved Christmas classics.
2 - Light display at Kew's iconic Temperate House, the world's largest Victorian glasshouse.
3 - Aurora, an ambitious installation that illuminates the night sky for over 200 metres overhead, replicating the enchanting visual phenomenon of the Aurora Borealis.
4 - Spheric, a fifteen-metre-wide dome of light covered in over 2,000 individually controlled LED pixels.
5 - The Christmas Cathedral, featuring thousands of fairy lights.
6 - The Neon Night Garden, a burst of vivid colours.
7 - Singing neon trees, sprawling branches illuminated with stars and seasonal festive projections.
Christmas at Kew is beyond magical and fascinating. It’s a celebration of nature by night and a unique experience enchanting children and adults alike, like no other.
It’ll leave you completely in awe. So, don’t miss it!

Tips:
Kew Garden Christmas Lights 2022 is open from 4pm to 10pm (last entry at 8:20).
Tickets are a bit expensive (off-peak £21.50 / peak £26.50 + £2 admin fee), but it’s totally worthwhile.
Dress appropriately, with tights, hats, and gloves, as it can get very cold.
