On this episode of Foundations For Opportunity Los Angeles Clippers assistant coach Rex Kalamian called in to discuss the barriers he overcame as the only Armenian in the NBA, coming from a single parent household and his passion for player development. Now in his 26th year in the NBA Rex has come full circle as he returns to the Clippers organization where he worked as a scout and assistant from 1992-2003. Being back home with his family and reflecting on his Armenian heritage, Coach Kalamian talks about his core values and whats allowed him to become a successful assistant coach for nearly three decades.
