Members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) have arrested a suspect who was wanted for a fatal shooting that took place at a convenience store on Cleveland's east side last month.
According to a release, members of the Cleveland NOVFTF arrested 44-year-old Charlie Wright inside a vehicle near the intersection of Parkwood Drive and Pasadena Ave in Cleveland. Wright had been wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder and felonious assault.
Wright's arrest comes as the result of an incident that took place in the USA Food Mart located in the 1100 block of East 123rd Street on Oct. 26. It is believed that after getting into a verbal altercation with another customer inside the store, Wright left the store before returning with a firearm and attempting to shoot the 30-year-old customer he had been arguing with.
