The US and South Korean armies conducted a joint live-fire drill on October 30 near North-Korean Border. The exercise was aimed to reinforce their defensive posture and check co-ordination amid rising Korean peninsula tensions. The drill at Rodriguez Live Fire Complex near North Korean border involved 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade and ROK-US Combined Division. US Army highlighted the drill was to test the combat readiness and coordination between the two troops. This drill follows the reports of Seoul, Washington alleging that North Korea sent troops to Russia.
