In order to ensure that businesses can start, grow, and thrive in local communities, investment and attention needs to be directed toward neighborhood corridors and commercial centers. This class will highlight the common challenges faced by commercial areas in local communities and will dig into programs that support equitable communities and local economies. The presenters will provide details on the successes and challenges of such programs and will describe examples where targeted investments have led to equitable local economies.
