It was one year ago today that Gov. Phil Murphy joined our neighbors in Connecticut and New York in temporarily closing down restaurants, bars, gyms, casinos and movie theaters. According to several national tracking projects, about a third of our small businesses never reopened.
Tuesday, officials announced 3,141 new, positive cases and 41 deaths. Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 747,561 cases in the state and 23,966 confirmed and probable deaths
