In this video, I take a visit to a station I have wanted to do for the pass month and on the 10th of September, I finally got to do it, and that station is Wandsworth Road on the Chatham Mainline & South London Line.

Wandsworth Road is a London Overground operated station with 2 platforms.

You'll see other services passing through from Southeastern and on this day due to the line between Blackfrairs - Herne Hill closed, Thameslink passed through as well.

You also get a good freight traffic through here, I managed to see two on the day.

Wandsworth Road was opened on the 1st of March 1863 by the London, Chatham & Dover Railway.

It has seen many changes throughout it's time, all which you can read on Wandsworth Road Station's Wikipedia.

The three letter station for Wandsworth Raod, is WWR.
