This video explores the cruelty of how Sylvester, someone who really make a name for himself and a mark on the music industry, basically remains buried under tons of music history instead of having a prominent place in music history. Off the top of my head, he is the first openly gay black male music artist who I can think of. Do you know any who came before him?
