PM Narendra Modi cabinet Formation Update: In a delicate balancing act, Modi 3.0 government will have to be very inclusive of the allies. After NCP, Shinde Shiv Sena has also expressed displeasure at lack of cabinet berths. Narendra Modi, in a historic hat-trick, on Sunday took oath as the Prime Minister of India for a third term and inducted 72 ministers into his 3.0 Cabinet. The mega event, held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, was attended by several international dignatories as well as celebrities, including Shah Rukh Khan and Rajinikanth, among others. The first meeting of PM Modi's third government will take place at 5 pm today. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister signed his first file on Monday pertaining to the PM Kishan Nidhi, authorising the release of the 17th instalment of the scheme. It will benefit as many as 9.3 crore farmers and distrubute around Rs 20,000 crore. The portfolios are yet to be decided for the ministers who took oath. Stay tuned at indiatoday.in for live updates
