Lluest Horse and Pony Trust (an equine rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming charity) in South West Wales was closed to the public during the pandemic but equine welfare and rescue work remained a priority and continued even during lockdown and at a physical distance.
When we received a call from a worried walker in March 2020 about a foal, we knew they had to respond with the utmost urgency.
