Singapore is considering introducing differentiated measures for vaccinated persons if the COVID situation continues to be stable and when at least 50% of the population has completed the full vaccination regimen.
These measures will include an increase of social gathering group sizes to 8 persons; and the doubling of group size capacity to 500 persons for events, weddings and worship activities if all attendees are fully vaccinated.
This is expected to take place around end July 2021.
Minister Lawrence Wong was speaking at a Multi-Ministry Taskforce media interview on 7 July 2021.
