In order to start, sustain and scale a business you're going to need some money, honey! But it's hard to raise capital as a Woman/ Woman of Color when the odds are not in our favor. 🫠
According to Fortune; In 2018, U.S. companies raised a total of $130B in VC funding, yet only 2.2% of that total went toward female-founded companies, and less than 1% of total funding was allocated toward businesses founded by women of color. That's pretty damn sad if you ask me! 😟

So how the hell do you get the funding you need to pay yourself, buy supplies, hire a team, and stock your inventory? Welp, one resource that entrepreneurs often overlook is grants; otherwise known as FREE ASS MONEY! 💸
In this video, I'm sharing some resources that will help you find and apply for grants so that you can do the work to start receiving the funding you need to make ish happen in your business!
Oh and P.S. You don't necessarily need to have an LLC or S-Corp to start applying to grants. Some grants are catered towards aspiring entrepreneurs that are just starting out. So don't feel intimidated if you're taking your first steps toward starting a small business. There's free money out there for you too! ❤️
