Russia plans to convene meetings with India and China again, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at the 10th Primakov Readings on June 26. Lavrov said that “the desire to maintain trilateral cooperation is evident in both Beijing and New Delhi.” According to Lavrov, Russia, India, and China will benefit from trilateral meetings, but the West is trying to undermine the process. However, the two Russian allies prefer to wait until the turbulence in the global economy subsides, said Lavrov. Lavrov said China and India won't question the US dollar's role but understand the discriminatory nature of Western actions.
