It was a mass casualty recovery operation more daunting than any that Sacramento County Coroner Kim Gin and her team had ever handled before. After sifting through the ashes of the Camp Fire, it was time to identify the victims' remains and give their families the closure they needed. Fortunately, things took a turn for the incredible with the help of new technology called ANDE Rapid DNA.
