This is an arrangement of a traditional song. It was used in the movie soundtrack for "The Long Riders" which was arranged, composed, and edited by Ry Cooder. Cooder won Best Music award in 1980 from the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards for this soundtrack. Turn up your speakers and enjoy this brilliant piece of 'Americana' music!
I tried to find a place to buy this directly from Ry Cooder, but didn't find it. There are sites all over that are selling the cd. Just Google it. I'm NOT promoting this site, but for those of you too tired (or don't want to take the time to Google), here is a site which has the cd for purchase: www.amazon.com/Long-Riders-Ry-Cooder/dp/B0000076AV
There are even vinyl's out there if you look!
