This is a great visualization of setting up a trap at a squirrel den entrance.

These young squirrels were out when Ryan arrived at the job.

They were afraid of him and ran inside the den which is gnawed into the fascia of the house.

Ryan set up a one-way door trap also called a repeater (because it catches multiple squirrels) over the hole.

When the squirrels wanted to exit the den, the only way out (without chewing a new hole) was to go into the trap with a one-way door.

As you can see, the squirrels were captured.
