Thenagi Therattipal | Coconut Halwa
Ingredients:
Moong Dal : 2tbs
Raw Rice : 1tbs
Grated Coconut : 1cup
Powdered Jaggery : 3/4cup
Cardamom : 2
Salt a pinch
Ghee as required
Water : 3tbs
📍Roast Moong dal n Rice together until crisp
Cool down n grind to fine powder
📍 Grind Coconut Cardamom Jaggery Salt Water n ground dal together semi coarsely
📍 Heat ghee in a pan n fry cashew n diced coconut pieces and keep it as side
📍In the same pan add 2tsp ghee and add the ground coconut mix and keep stirring by adding ghee gradually every 5minutes slowly the halwa will start leaving the pan and it will change colour too. Once the Therattipal leaves pan completely add the fried cashew n coconut pieces n serve.
Shelf Life : 3days in room temperature and 7days in refrigerator
