BEAUMONT - A Beaumont man is in jail tonight, accused of robbing a woman at knife-point just after she withdrew money from an ATM.Police say it happened at Chase Bank ATM located at 995 Washington in Beaumont.Randy Kirkwood, 55, was quickly located and apprehended by Beaumont police Thursday night.Police say Kirkwood confronted the woman as she walked back to her car after using the ATM. Investigators say he showed her a knife and demanded money, which she gave him. He then ran off.Police found him a short time later, and say Kirkwood gave officers a voluntary about what had happened. Kirkwood was charged with aggravated robbery and held on $50,000 bond.
