On the 17th of March, the factory acceptance test of the CLA took place at Breman Machinery in Genemuiden, the Netherlands. Van Oord awarded Breman Machinery and KENC Engineering with the assignment to design and build a casing lift adapter. This tool is designed to lift and upend the temporary casings, which are used to install foundation pin-piles for the Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm. With the CLA, Van Oord is able to get the temporary casing from the vessel to the subsea template.
