Typhoon Nari [Santi] is continuing to intensify as a Category 3 typhoon in the final hours before its first landfall in the Philippines. The storm currently has sustained winds of 120mph and could make landfall at this intensity. The storm is likely to cross over the central part of Luzon and maintain typhoon intensity as it emerges over the South China Sea by tomorrow. The storm is then likely to move on to either Vietnam or Hainan island, China.
