(21 Jun 1994) Around 3,000 Amerasians registered their American parentage in Subic Bay on Tuesday (21-6) in the first step towards becoming full American citizens. The US Congress is looking at new legislation that could allow children born of American fathers in the Philippines full rights of abode and work in the United States.
