Rising Star trumpeter Aaron Azunda Akugbo performs the emotive 'Adoration' by composer Florence Price at Classic FM's Rising Stars with Julian Lloyd Webber. Originally written for the organ, the piece later gained popularity as an arrangement for solo violin and string orchestra. With the accompaniment of 12 Ensemble, Aaron 'borrows' the solo line for trumpet, giving the work a sense of warmth and reflection.
