For the past 10 years, the Anzisha Prize in partnership with ALA & the Mastercard have championed very young entrepreneurs on the African continent. Each year, we go on a mission to find Africa's brightest and youngest entrepreneurs who are running job generative businesses that are transforming their communities.
For the first time we are taking you along to discover these very young entrepreneurs. From Southern Africa to West Africa, we will travel across the continent to meet these exciting! vye's, to find out more about what they do, who they do it with and how they do it.
The Journey will follow exceptional 26 entrepreneurs as they navigate running their businesses in their 3-year fellowship. What is at stake? Four grand prizes worth 10 000 dollars each. But first, they must demonstrate how to grow and run successful businesses to unlock a series of prizes and the opportunity to win one of the four grand prizes. Who will stumble? Who will be victorious? Life is a journey but so is business.
They will set their own targets and try reach them. Through their ups and downs we will explore topics such as building strong businesses ideas, exploring how to succeed as a young entrepreneur on the continent. Are there enough resources? Convincing parents that entrepreneurship is viable? These are some questions we will tackle on the journey…
