With the Long Ranger, Henry sought out to fix every issue people have with lever rifles, and they did a stellar job! Here are my top 5 reasons the Long Ranger is the best lever gun ever made!
1) made to shoot modern calibers (.223/5.56, .243win, .308win, and 6.5 creedmoor)
2) magazine fed for faster reloads
3) free floated barrel for better accuracy
4) shorter throw on the lever for shooting prone
5) geared 6 lug rotary bolt (very consistent lock up and engagement like a bolt action)
