Many Srebrenica residents who survived the genocide live abroad and have no intention of returning to Bosnia and Herzegovina any time soon. Yet for many, like Alma Hasanović, who now lives in Denver, USA, Srebrenica remains the most important place on the map and they keep coming back to it.
