Monggo w/ Alugbati
Ingredients:
1/4 kilo Monggo
100 grams Pork Belly
4 cloves Garlic
1 medium sized Onion
1 thumb sized Ginger
1 Tomato
1/2 Chicken Cube
1 tbsp Fish Sauce / Patis
Alugbati Leaves
Salt to taste
Procedure
-Put pork in a pan, fry and let the oil render from the pork fat
-Saute garlic, onion ginger and tomato
-Add boiled monggo
-Add water
-Bring to a boil
-Add the chicken cube, patis ( fish sauce ) and salt
-Let it simmer until the liquid reduced
-Add the alugbati
-Adjust seasoning according to your liking..
