The Minnesota Timberwolves entered this season coming off a historic year where they swept the Phoenix Suns in round one, took down the defending champion Denver Nuggets, and made the Western Conference Finals where they fell to Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks. It was a very successful year that was followed by one of the more shocking trades in recent history when they shipped Karl-Anthony Towns to the New York Knicks in exchange for Julius Randle and Done Divincenzo. It was a stunning and controversial move that is currently looking like a massive mistake. Anthony Edwards is playing really well, but the Rudy Gobert anchored defense has taken a step back, Julius Randle has been underwhelming, Donte Divincenzo has been bad, Jaden McDaniels hasn't progressed offensively, and the Wolves are one of the worst teams in the Western Conference. It's bad and we need to talk about it.
