I had a session with the Horn Mill Trout Farm Ospreys in Rutland. I restricted myself to 6400 iso on my OM-1 camera, but if I had known that my favourite Raw processing software was about to update to include the OM-1 I would have gone higher. DxO Pureraw is so easy to use. No buttons to press, options to choose, sliders to move or dials to turn. Just start it up and leave it to get on with it.
I then have a session taking a series of test pictures at 25,600 iso and use Pureraw to process the results. Very impressive and not something Olympus or MFT cameras are supposed to be good at.
When in the future I am shooting birds in flight I will be much more likely to use 25,600 iso or any wildlife in dull light.
