Hi friends, in this video, I’m making an easy sweet snack recipe using almonds and coconut. It tastes delicious with a very few ingredients. Do try this and let me know your feedback. Make sure to subscribe and click the bell icon for regular updates!!!
Ingredients:
Almonds - 1 cup
Coconut - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 ½ cups
Ghee - 10 tbsp
Milk - ¼ cup + 1 tbsp
Saffron - few
Cardamoms - 3
Method:
Soak the almonds for 2-3 hours.
Peel them.
Grind with ¼ cup of milk and a little water to a smooth paste.
Soak some saffron strands in a tbsp of warm milk.
Heat a pan, add a tbsp of ghee, add the grated coconut and fry for 5-6 minutes in a medium flame. Keep it aside.
In the same pan, add 2 tbsp of ghee, add the almond paste and mix for 2 minutes.
Add sugar and mix everything together until there are no lumps.
Start adding ghee, 1 tbsp at a time. Once the mixture becomes thick and starts leaving the sides of the pan, add the saffron milk and mix.
Add the cardamom powder and mix for a minute.
Add the fried coconut and mix everything together for 2 minutes.
Apply some ghee on a tray.
Transfer the mixture to the tray.
Level the mixture and let it cool down for 10 minutes.
Cut into desired shapes.
