A required part of making the whisky barrel chair was cleaning up the staves. My plan with this chair was to do a minimal amount of cleaning to leave the staves look like authentic whisky barrel staves.
Because of the burning that is done to the barrel there was an obscene amount of dust covering my workshop by the time I had finished.
The only upside was that the smell of whisky also filled the workshop.
