Reason # 8 - Failing Schools in Mexico
the government schools are actually terribly corrupt, underfunded, and sadly, a huge propaganda tool for the government. In addition to that, Mexican schools are behind the times, forcing students to use books instead of teaching them how to use computers. Teachers are constantly going on strike demanding better pay and working conditions, and often, children have no access to public schools because they live too far from any city. Education is not a priority for the government and it shows.
All countries have a bit of good and a bit of bad, but it is better to be prepared than sorry. Please don’t let us dissuade you from living in Mexico if you really love the country.
