While I was out in Centralia, IL doing a little railfanning I heard the UP Dispatcher call out for UP 9002 (South) over the scanner. I thought to myself "hey that's one of those new UP SD70ACe-T4's or T3's". I quickly drove out to Kell, IL where I saw a northbound UP manifest holding the main. I then left Kell to drive up to Salem, IL and that's when I heard the UP Dispatcher ask the crew on UP 9002 are they ready to depart Salem? The engineer said we'll be departing as soon as my conductor come up inside the train. When I heard that I just went onto Kell Road to wait for the train. About 15 minutes waiting on Kell Road I heard a loud horn off in the distance knowing it was UP ZYCLD-03 with UP 9002 on point. When the train finally got to where I was it had another one trailing with it too which was UP 9000. I then chased this train to Kell, IL to get a few pictures of it, but I had to put my camcorder on this electrical box. So are these units SD70ACe-T4's or SD70ACe-T3's? I know they say SD70AH under the window of the engine.
