This is a first amendment audit of the the Village of Brockport, NY on April 8th 2022 of the police department and Village Hall. The police department had Officer complaint forms available but the public records must be done Online... We did do some FOIL to find out how many tickets were given out by the Brockport police for expired New York State Inspection because they had 4 Patrol vehicles with Expired Inspection... The Detectives car was a complete year and a month over due. This means this car hasn't been to the shop for a Safety check in 2 whole years! The Detective says " it is what it is ". After the FOIL comes back 135 Tickets the people to go to court and pay a Fine for not have a Safety check. And After All isn't it ALL about Officer Safety????
After the police department AEC headed over to the Village Hall. The Mayor Asked AEC to leave for taking photos in the public space. They HIT THE PANIC Button! Call the Cops it's a CAMERA! The police showed up educated the Mayor of the Erie County Fam's rights to video record in public! The one thing that bothers me is the police told the Mayor " It was Unfortunate they Could NOT remove a person for filming " How is FREEDOM Unfortunate Erie County Fam? Please tell me in the comment section!
