On April 28th, 2020 there was a marginal to slight risk of severe storms across southern Wisconsin. A few weak, elevated thunderstorms began popping up around 8:00 PM. By 8:30 PM, a small storm moved right over my area. This storm brought moderate rainfall as well as frequent nearby lightning strikes which resulted in some loud thunder. Just before I began filming, a positive bolt struck about a mile away and resulted in the loudest thunder I've heard since 2018. Wish I would've gotten it on film! None of the storms in my area ended up going severe, as the dynamics just weren't in place (temps for example were only in the low to mid 40s F).
