the explorer is a 2001 sport. the transfer case and shifter and shifter boot was from an 85 Ford Bronco 2 with an automatic transmission. the front drive shaft 87 Ranger with a manual transmission. the block off plate with the O-ring did not work. it ended up leaking so I removed the O-ring and just put rtv around the hole and used the same block off plate. it's been good ever since. god damn i love sandwiches :)
