In this Ibiza Video I walk from Cala Salada to Punta Galera, two of the most popular coves in Ibiza thanks to their golden sands and crystalline turquoise waters. Cala Salada is usually very busy, but you can also visit its neighbour, Cala Saladeta, which tends to be quieter. You can either venture over the rocky promontory that separates the beaches or head down one of the easier paths through the hills. If you're coming by car, you can follow signs north from San Antonio. The beach has a shaded car park with 65 spaces. From June to September the road to the car park will be closed from 10 am to 6 pm, so you'll need to arrive early if you want to park close and avoid the long walk down to the beach. From June to September there is a bus service from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm from the bus station in San Antonio. The stop is Can Coix sports centre. Another popular way of getting there is by taking a cruise, or you can also get a ferry from the port of San Antonio. Punta Galera, in the surroundings of Cala Salada , makes up one of the most surprising landscapes on the Ibizan coast. It is a stretch of smooth rock, which at times even forms flat terraces at various levels, where bathers spread their towels. A nudist corner par excellence, it has always been a seldom frequented place, although it attracts more and more young people, seduced by the stillness and beauty of the picturesque landscape. Even so, the absence of beach bars, the lack of sand and the lack of signage prevent the place from becoming overcrowded.
