Since most Vanda orchids are bare rooted, they will definitely need a period of adjusting to potted culture. I like to do temporary setups that acclimate Vandas without stressing them when repotting [ Ссылка ]
Other than that, any setup that has synergy with you and your conditions should work just fine, as long as it respects the 3 principles of orchid nature: water, air and safe medium for roots!
