I had to get this one out...Do you full time in an RV and rely on Black Berkey Filters?
I love Berkey however I recently had problems with black Berkey filters (the rubber gasket seal isn't tightening enough to seal despite using brand new components, have tried doubling up the washers...I fear the water is getting contaminated which is what started me looking more closely).
I did an immediate emergency change.
I am not done with Berkey but my health is top priority and so I wanted to change to something else while I figure out what's going on (beyond the rubber gaskets there are some questions about Berkey testing results)...the video goes into a hack for helping extend your main water filter, water quality across America, testing, water structure, and what I got as a replacement (no affiliation, just got it, like it but not sure longer term).
Test results using a hand-held unscientific little battery powered gadget that came with my new water filter - ie grain of salt...
No filter: 353
After RV filter: 282
Berkey Filter: 162
New Filter: 0

Turns out from where I am staying right now the water has 525X the recommended arsenic!! Be sure to check your zip code because it turns out that, "Legal limits for contaminants in tap water have not been updated in almost 20 years" Berkey claims to filter out 99% while Zero claims 93%.
Special note: this is all from my own perspective, I am not a testing lab nor am I pretending to be or have use of one, these are all just my results as a user making sense of getting clean water...
