India’s improved policy, better governance and better infrastructure will provide flood of opportunities to Taiwanese companies to do more business in India, said Ramesh Abhishek, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) Secretary.
Speaking at the 2nd Taiwan-India Industrial Collaboration Summit organized by Federation of Indian Chamber and Commerce Industry (FICCI), he said “this is a good time for investment in India as India is likely to become almost 10 trillion dollar economy by 2030.
He said that the department will set up Taiwan Plus cell to help and handhold all the Taiwanese who want to do business in India and who want to expand business in India.
He said further to bring ease in doing business in India, “we are removing all the bottlenecks and obstacles in areas like infrastructure, logistics and skill development.”
He also asked Taiwanese companies to invest in India as the country holds huge potential.
