You don’t need to remove the lower unit to change the prop seals on your Yamaha 60HP outboard, but we’ve removed ours to take care of some other jobs. See how here: [ Ссылка ]
We’ll start by draining the fluid out of the lower unit. then , we’ll get to work removing the output shaft carrier. Once we’ve got it removed, we’ll tackle the oil seals. There are two, and they sit next to each other in the housing assembly. We’ll also replace the O-ring.
Then we’ll put it all back together again.
