Ex-pope Benedict XVI's letter asks for forgiveness over abuse scandal

The German Canon Georg Ganswein reads out a letter written by Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI in which he apologises after a report on sexual abuse in the Catholic Church for clerical child sex abuse committed on his watch. The former pontiff, who stepped down in 2013, is accused of knowingly failing to stop four priests accused of child sex abuse in the 1980s when he was archbishop of Munich.
