Ali Pasha Castle, located on a hill between the villages of Anthousa and Agia, about five kilometers northwest of Parga, was built in 1814 by Ali Pasha of Ioannina as a military stronghold during the siege of Parga. The fortress has remained in relatively good condition and is a popular attraction for visitors to the area.
