Many Bugatti models have converged at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024 event, the most prominent of which is the recently launched Bugatti Tourbillon
The Goodwood Festival of Speed continues to be an event for Bugatti to showcase the beauty and power of speed machines closer to customers and speed enthusiasts.
The highlight at this exhibition is the Bugatti Tourbillon hypercar, which has just been unveiled in June 2024. This is a potential replacement for the Bugatti Chiron.
The car is named after the Tourbillon mechanism on Swiss mechanical models instead of the tradition of naming cars from racers and legends associated with the brand.
For the first time in the brand’s history, the Tourbillon is the first Bugatti to be equipped with a two-sided butterfly door mechanism, similar to the LaFerrari or McLaren P1.
The interior of the Bugatti Tourbillon has a classic style with a classic mechanical taplo dial composed of more than 600 parts with high-quality materials such as Titanium, Sapphire and Ruby.
The 8.3L naturally aspirated V16 engine possesses a power of 1,000 horsepower. Combined with a mechanism of 3 electric motors, the Bugatti Tourbillon has a total power of 1,800 horsepower.
The Bugatti Tourbillon is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 2 seconds and the top speed is limited to 380 km/h. With the Speed Key, this figure is pushed to 445 km/h.
Launching its official version in June 2023, the Bugatti Bolide is Bugatti’s track-exclusive hypercar. The car is entering the final testing stage before being handed over to the first customers.
The Bugatti Bolide is still equipped with an 8.0-liter W16 engine, but the power is reduced from 1,850 horsepower on the concept to 1,600 horsepower and 1,600 Nm of torque.
Driving a powerful 1,600 horsepower hypercar is none other than the famous racer Andy Wallace. He won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1988.
First introduced at Monterey Car Week 2022, the Bugatti W16 Mistral can be considered the only convertible variant of the Bugatti Chiron hypercar. Only 99 were produced at a price of $5 million.
The heart of the W16 Mistral is still the 8.0L W16 engine block equipped with 4 turbos, a maximum power of 1,600 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1,600 Nm. Currently, this model is also in the final testing stage.
In addition to modern supercar models, many classic Bugatti variants also appeared on the exhibition grounds this year with a total value of hundreds of millions of dollars.
This 1937 Bugatti Type 57S Sports Tourer was penned by Vanden Plas. Only 2 cars own the above configuration with the current valuation of about 10 to 12 million USD.
The Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic is one of the brand’s iconic models. This is also the inspiration for Bugatti to launch the unique Bugatti La Voiture Noire in 2019.
